Light of His Word

My delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law I meditate day and night - Psalm 1:2

How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! - Psalm 119:103

I am alive in Delight right now regarding this journey of finding our stories in God's story. I believe that all of our lives touch other lives that bring glory to His name. He can be found, we can be found, in His glorious Love story, in His word, His heartbeat, the Holy Bible. His word is so precious to me.

My life has been touched, restored and transformed by a living God through his living Word and I will never be the same. I found my story in Him by reading the pages of His word. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. They were dwelling together in perfect unity, as a perfect family and then we came to be through Him, as sons and daughters, precious and honored in His sight. We are a beautiful part of the story and we can find ourselves Free, Healed and Alive in Love in Him by asking the Holy Spirit to uncover where we find our life in Him in each season. I believe every story, every word has purpose.

As examples; the hero’s of faith, Israel, Joseph, David, Ruth, Mary, Jesus; their stories were written out for our benefit and connection with God. I connect with a real God knowing there were real people who have gone before me with real struggles and victories. Ultimately, He is the only one acquainted with all of our ways, who became a man and knows what it is like to take on flesh and fully overcome. He knows me. He fashioned me and understands me like no one else can. He desires to connect and be with me through the up’s and down’s of every season of my soul. When I gain victory by allowing Him into every area of my heart, others around me benefit and are more free to gain victory. I gain access to more keys to set the captives free when I overcome my own custom made testings and battles.

No two fingerprints or roadmaps of life are the same, they are each different, unique and personalized. Custom made by a loving Father to draw us near to Himself.

I believe we were made in this season of faith, on this side of eternity to be found walking fully Alive. We come alive when we touch a Truth about Him that transforms us from the inside out. When I find Him in the pain, joy or bewilderment, my mind is renewed into right thinking about myself and Him. What is my wrestle, my tension, my prayer in delay today? He wants to be that for me here and now, on this side of the fulfillment. When I submit to the flame of love, I become love, I gain access to loving others well. We are known in heaven for love by His Great Love. I desire to be found walking alive in Love, among my family, friends and community this day and every day.

Adoration

Lord, I adore your words. How precious they are to me. Even the bitter is sweet to my hungry soul. I long for your Truth to touch, transform and renew me. Nothing can bring confidence to me like your written words, spelled out for our communion, for our unbroken continual conversation. My soul dies without communion. I am full of gratitude because you didn’t have to do it, you didn’t have to do any of it, but you did. You chose Life over Death, Health over Sickness, Love over Brokenness, Sacrifice over Sin. You chose me and I choose you this day.

In this passover season, Lord, I pray for families to know You in a deeper and richer way. Unite the hearts of your beloved ones. I am grateful that Freedom is found for my friends and family in You. You do it for me and you do it for them. Come, Lord and let us experience the resurrection power of the knowledge of Christ by surrendering fully to every circumstance that is put before us, by your grace for your glory.

Help us to know Love fully and fully love like you do.
