Work produces worship

When I am packing for a trip or decluttering the house, there is a temptation to get mad at all of the stuff.⁣

It’s futile for me to go around grumbling or getting upset with inanimate objects.⁣

It’s a natural reaction to want to blame but it does us no good.

Rise above with me, beloved ones, and speak truth to your soul to turn your passion for cleanliness into compassion for your people.⁣

Still do the work to de-clutter and make wise choices about stuff but direct frustration into something heavenly.⁣

𝗪𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐬, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. ⁣

I am entering this season again of decluttering and I invite you into it with me.⁣

Tend to the garden of your heart, to better tend to the hearts around you, who need you the most.

Also, warm reminder to sing your song.

This song was dropped into my spirit a few weeks ago and it’s been changing my world ever since.⁣

“𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘴, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘰 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦”

When we went camping recently and were cleaning, hiking or doing new-ish outdoorsy things - I would sing this song and I still am.

It’s lovely how song works to change us and the atmosphere around us.

Thank you, Lord, for the power of song

Happy Spring/Summer, friends!

What temperature or season is it where you are?

It’s feeling like summer here in TX, already in the 90’s
